Town Hall Meetings
The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey (NFBNJ) is hosting town hall conference calls on a variety of topics with moderators presiding over each call. We hope these calls provide information and thoughtful discussions in your local chapter meetings throughout the year. These meetings will be conducted on the Zoom platform.
In order to obtain the best possible sound for these calls, the host will put all participants into mute mode until the Q and A portion of the call. You will be able to hear everything during the call but background noise from your location will not disturb others listening in on the conversation. During the Q and A portion of the call, you will be unmuted by the moderator to ask your question when called upon. Once your question has been answered, the moderator will place you back on mute before moving on to the next question. We will answer as many questions as time permits during the call.
Please note that the times for the meetings are in Eastern Time. Members and non-members, and those residing outside of New Jersey are welcome to attend. Details on how to participate in the meetings and how to submit questions in advance can be found further on this page.
Because our conference calls contain information that’s helpful and interesting to all, we archive all of them within hours of their completion. Details to listen to the archived calls will be provided at a later date. We hope you enjoy and learn from them.
